Here are pictures of the set used for CBBC channel on screen presentation from 2004 to 2006...
They moved to this studio, TC9, in the summer of 2004. Previously it was used for links for CBBC 1 and 2, until these moved to TC10.
Most of the images are taken from the IPIX tour CBBC had on their website, but seeing as this is no longer online it is clear why these images may be of interest!
This studio is around 30 by 30 foot, plus a corridor leading to a small area. Both were often used on screen during this period. Of course, a big feature is the glass blocks and the doors leading to the Blue Peter garden.
These days, TC9 is used for TMi, now in its third series. It just shows how far things have come - this studio, once considered small, was used for CBBC links, but now houses one of CBBC's flagship shows, its Saturday morning show, previously also sharing it with another, SMart!

The floor
The floor of the studio is dark blue. Just for reference, not because it's an interesting shot!
